Door of Danger was a Stingray short story printed in TV Century 21 in 1965.
It featured the Doctor Who universe character of Nikita Bandranaik prominently, subjecting the incumbent World President to yet another assassination attempt by Bereznik.

- Shore suggests the two men shot at by Wasp guards might have been two ordinary people out for a moonlight swim.
- The laser box attached to the ocean door by the saboteurs causes eleven million dollars worth of damage to Stingray. Shore puts this down to Knowles' incompetence and estimates it will take months to repair.
- The three hundred thousand ton submarine aircraft carrier Kennedy and the sixty thousand ton battleship United Kingdom are part of the of the WASP 1st Fleet.
- President Bandranaik arrives in Marineville in the luxury hovercruiser Unity One.
- At first Knowles believes the Bereznik submarine B29 to be the snout of a shark.
- Shore states no man in his right mind wants to go back to the chaos and tension of 1965, something he thinks would have happened if the Bereznik attack had succeeded.
