In 2010, a Shopkeeper who refused to state his age told the Ealing Echo that there was an alien in his shop. When Sarah Jane Smith, Clyde Langer and Rani Chandra saw the paper, they went to the Shopkeeper's shop. He said it was a plot to get them there to send them through a time window, each to a different time period, so they could find three special objects. Later that year, one edition of the Ealing Echo reported on stories about "Jordan love rat shock", a Labour backbencher, Lady Gaga, and an Aston Villa striker.
