Earth Document

From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference

The Earth Documents were audio-visual documents originating from Earth which were collected by the ArcHivists of the ArcHive. Most notable were the Cyber-Documents, a collection of Earth Documents which were compiled into the CyberHive. They included the First Invasion of Earth, The Quiet Invasion, The Destruction of Mondas, Space Station W3, The Moonbase, Awakening of the CyberTelosians, The Pursuit of Voga, Onslaught on Earth, Departure from Telos, Quest for Power and Cybermen on Gallifrey. (AUDIO: Origins of the Cybermen/The Early Cybermen/The Cyber Nomads/The Ultimate Cybermen)

Other Earth Documents included Image of the Fendahl, (AUDIO: Origins of the Cybermen) Resurrection of the Daleks (AUDIO: The Early Cybermen) and The Evil of the Daleks. (AUDIO: The Cyber Nomads)

Behind the scenes[[edit] | [edit source]]

Throughout The ArcHive Tapes, the Earth Documents function as a rationale for the use of archive audio from select serials of the classic Doctor Who series, similar to how recovered space-time transmissions would be cited in The Dalek Conquests. Thus, the Earth Documents are essentially in-universe recordings of the Doctor's adventures. Elsewhere, the Dalek Survival Guide identifies Doctor Who as an in-universe documentary series.
