The Eighth Doctor was a larger man with a white moustache. He had silver hair and wore green lensed glasses. (GRAPHIC: "The Last of the Daleks")
This Doctor had a more off-the-peg look than other incarnations with a morning suit and red silk scarf. (GRAPHIC: "The Last of the Daleks", PROSE: What If?) He wore a pink butterfly pin on his neckwear as well as a beetle brooch on his lapel. (GRAPHIC: "The Last of the Daleks")
He carried a fob watch with a question mark, as well as a long cane (GRAPHIC: "The Last of the Daleks") and a sonic screwdriver. (GRAPHIC: "Untitled")

Alixion was the final story to feature Sylvester McCoy as the Seventh Doctor. John Nathan-Turner's final action as producer was to cast Richard Griffiths as the Doctor. Nathan-Turner had wanted Griffiths for the role for a decade. Ken Trew designed the Eighth Doctor's costume. (PROSE: What If?)
