The Halloween-themed background of the Fifth Doctor in Black Orchid will remain active until at least 10 November 2012, out of solidarity with the Great State of New Jersey and a number of other localities affected by Superstorm Sandy. New Jersey as a whole has officially changed Halloween to 5 November, many towns in Connecticut have opted for 7 November, and localities up and down the Eastern seaboard have moved Halloween as is necessitated by their particular situation.
If you're in the United States, we encourage you to give blood or money to your local Red Cross to help those whose lives have been uprooted by this horrible event.
