Hi. Just wondering if it would be appropriate to put links on merchandise-related pages to the wiki I set up last year, Doctor Who Collectors Wiki? I need to get more coverage for it and hopefully more users so putting links on this wiki should be a great help. Tardis1963 05:13, September 27, 2009 (UTC)

Which pages were you thinking? I've had a look on some pages CDs, Books, Magazines and DVDs and there would be more than a little perceived repetition if links were added on every single one of the article page external links for each of these medias. However I've added a link to the DVD releases page that links to the 'Category:Doctor Who DVD's' category (though I feel I should note that the category name is incorrect. For a category that size it'd only take an hour or so to correct). --Tangerineduel 08:02, September 29, 2009 (UTC)

Thanks. I was thinking possible box set pages like Bred for War, or pages like The Companion Chronicles or Big Finish Bernice Summerfield series.

And, yeah, I'm aware of the DVD and CD category title problem, and will fix it up. I'm just not looking forward to editing categories in over 500 pages though.

Thanks for you help, though. Tardis1963 23:48, September 29, 2009 (UTC)

Archivist's notes[[edit source]]

I can't really make sense of what happened in this discussion. Not sure if Tangerineduel acquiesced to the request to put linkages or not. In any case, I don't think there's a prohibition in current policy from making links to the DWC wiki. In practice, though, there aren't all that many pages that do link over there. So I'm not sure if Tardis1963 really succeeded with this request. Closing as "unresolved".
