Is there a reason that for all the multi-part DWBIT comic stories, that many parts share the exact same image? (Example: Beneath the Skin, The Sky Below, Beyond the Sea, Lonely Planet). This continues throughout the magazine's run. -- Tybort (talk page) 16:07, March 11, 2012 (UTC)
- A policy reason? Not as such, no. The practical reason was probably because the editor who did that — most likely The Librarian — wanted to indicate that the named "episodes" were all the same story. These BIT images have evolved over the years. At first they all had the same pic.
- It's sort of a tricky situation to deal with, though. I'm not entirely sure we ever agreed, as a community, that these BIT "episodes" would be on different pages. I don't know whether they're best thought of as Hartnell serials (in which case we'd put 'em all on one page) or as BBC Wales multi-parters (in which case, we wouldn't). It might be just as well to collapse them all on a page titled with the first part (and keep redirects from the other episodic titles). The BIT stuff is really quite anamolous, so it might be worth talking about a bit.
