As User:CzechOut was the only user who was implementing the new user box changes (to the Template:Infobox Comic), and was the only user here who knew how to make alterations to the new infobox, and as he's currently not been here for about 20 days. I'm proposing a revert to the old infobox to maintain the symmetry of the infoboxes and the overall design of this wiki.
I would like to say that while I had reservations concerning the design I was getting able to live with it.
However as he was the only user able to edit the new infobox (which still has some issues), I'm proposing we revert to the old infobox which at least most of the regular editors could alter / edit with relative ease, more easily than the various variables that the new infobox presented.
The old infobox was quite alright, it wasn't amazingly brilliant, but it got the job done, this new infbox has plenty of bells and whistles, but editing / altering the infobox is somewhat more than complicated and as CzechOut was the only user who could alter it it somewhat limits its edit-ability and ease of use amongst the wiki edit and user wise.

Revert[[edit source]]
- I'm in favor of reverting it, I don't really care for the new look and thought the old one was just fine. Doug86 22:11, 24 June 2009 (UTC)
- Well, to partially reiterate what I posted on Tangerineduel's talk page the other day, I like CzechOut's design, but would be in favor of a project to redesign all of the infoboxes... and have at least a few completed... before we begin implementing them in the live wiki. Thus, I am in favor of reverting the comic box... and then using CheckOut's design as the starting point for a discussion about making the wiki's design a little more unique. --Raukodraug 19:20, 26 June 2009 (UTC)
- I am in favour of revert, but would of course move the infobox to a dedicated page for future collective work within the wiki so we needn't rely on one user. --Tangerineduel 15:35, 28 June 2009 (UTC)
Continue with the new infobox, try and continue CzechOut's work, or something[[edit source]]
- 20 days doesn't really seem like a long enough absence to get rid of all that work. The new infobox works fine and is much more efficient than the old one (there aren't as many blank spaces for this one). If an error does crop up, we might want to revert it, but since there aren't any errors, I see no need to change the infobox. -<Azes13 17:38, 24 June 2009 (UTC)
- I vote keep it with a less drab color scheme and with capitalization implemented. --Stardizzy2 22:03, 28 June 2009 (UTC)
- I'm on the fence about this. At first I didn't like it, because of the big ugly "Picture Unavailable" graphic at the top. But as I looked at it in more detail, I like the layout of the information. So, I'd vote "keep it, but drop the graphic if there's not an article-specific image." So I'm in the "or something" camp. Monkey with a Gun 05:24, 5 July 2009 (UTC)
Result[[edit source]]
As it's been 35 days and no CzechOut. Building on what Raukodraug and partly Monkey with a Gun have said I am going to attempt to duplicate the infobox's history (via an export and import of the infobox) so it can be developed without being in general circulation of the wider wiki. Along with that create a page and category dedicated to the development of new infobox(es) that won't be reliant on one user to make changes/edits to it. --Tangerineduel 13:49, 9 July 2009 (UTC)
- See Tardis:Infobox development and Template:Infobox Comic project 1, project one is a duplication of the infobox and all its history, the infobox development page can be fleshed out by anyone, I've added some basic beginning information to get us started on this new step in building the infoboxes. --Tangerineduel 14:18, 9 July 2009 (UTC)
