The Funky Board was the Eighth Doctor's favourite bit of Max Warp. When Geoffrey Vantage was removed from the show and O'Reilley took the lead, the Funky Board was scrapped, much to the Doctor's disappointment. (AUDIO: Max Warp)

The Funky Board is a reference to the Cool Wall from Top Gear, on which the presenters decided how cool or uncool various cars were.
