- The Klades' Gods of War and Legacy were named in allusion to the titles of the two BBC Eighth Doctor Adventures novels featuring Daleks: War of the Daleks and Legacy of the Daleks. This alluded to the Klades' implied, but never quite explicit, origin as the Daleks' humanoid descendants.
