"Goodnight Vienna"

From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference

"Goodnight Vienna" was a phrase the Tenth Doctor once used with Rose Tyler upon escaping from a time loop. He used it to indicate that they would no longer be having to perform the same actions over and over again. "It's a definite goodnight Vienna this time," he said, "No more repeat performances!" (COMIC: Interstellar Overdrive)

Operatives of the Preachers were heard to exclaim the phrase upon destroying the emotional inhibitors within the Cyberman factories in Pete's World. (GAME: Cyber Assault)

Behind the scenes[[edit] | [edit source]]

As it was used in the last panel of Rose's final non-parodic appearance in the magazine, it also could be read as a meta-fictional farewell to the character.
