Cousin Gottfried was a member of Faction Paradox who traveled with Mother Hangaku to an unnamed planet on the trail of enemy activity. While there, the two of them came upon an Oracle who could tell the future of those she encountered. Anxious to use her ability in The War, the two attempt to kidnap her, Gottfried dying in the attempt. (PROSE: The Oracle)
