The wiki says The Sound of Drums/Last of the Time Lords takes place in early May 2008, and Invasion of the Bane takes place on the 3rd of August, or somewhere around then, and Revenge of the Slitheen takes place in September 2008. But in Turn Left, it is revealed that the events of Smith and Jones/The Sound of Drums/Last of the Time Lords (all take place within a few days of each other) are set after Revenge of the Slitheen. How can series 3 of Doctor Who be in May 2008 is The Sarah Jane Adventures series 1 is in September 2008, when Turn Left revealed that the events of series 3 Doctor Who came some time after Revenge of the Slitheen? May and September 2008 contradiction going on there!

Then again, the May date is not set in stone - it is assumtion. Series 3 Doctor Who couuld easily take place after in or after September... the Whoniverse could have election days differently to suit its own needs. Where DID the August 3rd date come from, by the way? It wasn't ever stated in the episode when Invasion of the Bane took place - did the website say August and September 2008 at some point?

And does anyone know if an official Whoniverse guide thing will be released that reveals the chronological dates of Whoniverse stories - day, month, and year? We REALLY need one to clean up things. Delton Menace 17:58, February 28, 2010 (UTC)

I doubt they'll ever release anything official. They rarely do--they do release or license books that non-canonically try to fit it all together, but nobody asks the writers to come up with definite answers to these questions, and from the writers' point of view, it's easier to leave things open so they have more options to fit things in however they need to for some later story they haven't even dreamed up yet.
They haven't even told us when the UNIT stories "really" took place; they just joke about it to make most of the fans chuckle and drive a few of the fans crazy.... --99.20.129.165 07:38, March 3, 2010 (UTC)
