The "illusion anti-gravity football" was a yellow and black football used by Doctor Doctor in an attempt to pretend to be the intergalactic keepy-uppy champion.

History[[edit] | [edit source]]

Doctor Doctor was practicing his "keepy uppies" in the STARSHED, getting to over 3,107 before being interrupted by his companion, Patience Patience, causing him to lose count, opting to start again, frustrating Patience. The Doctor soon reminded Patience that the STARSHED was a time ship as well as a spaceship, as well as letting her know that he's gotten them the best seats in the stadium for free by claiming to be the intergalactic keepy-uppy champion - he planned to put on a half-time show thanks to his "illusion anti-gravity football", leading Patience to openly remark "What could possibly go wrong?!".

As the STARSHED approached the Earth, AIEIO observed that the ball's anti-gravity effect got stronger as they got closer to Earth, remarking that Doctor Doctor would look like a "right doofus" at the match. Doctor Doctor attempted to use the "sonic spatula", although this didn't work as it was merely a spatula.

Doctor Doctor then demanded that AIEIO prepare the Time Scoop despite it only being intended for use in an "ABSOLUTE EMERGENCY", with the Doctor claiming that getting the football down was an absolute emergency, to avoid him becoming a laughing stock to the entire universe. After the Doctor gave some specifications of who he'd need, AIEIO used the Time Scoop to bring Apollo and Sabre, two gladiators aboard the STARSHED.

Doctor Doctor asked them to help with getting the ball down, leading the Doctor and Patience to be held up high enough to reach the ball. They accidentally punctured the ball, with Doctor Doctor initially placing the blame solely on the gladiators before correcting himself. AIEIO then attempted to use the Time Scoop to beam up one new ball to use instead, but accidentally ordered 111 balls, which began flying at the group.
