Inferno was a planned and ultimately unproduced audio story from Cutaway Comics set in the Inferno universe.

It was the last of three stretch goals included on the The World Dies Screaming comic story Kickstarter, sat at £16,000. The campaign started on 5 October and ended on 27 October, raising £14,199, enough to unlock the first and the second of the stretch goals in addition to the Third Doctor TV story Inferno's prequel, a Captain Chin Lee backup strip and a The Mind of Evil novella.

The story would have been a two-hander sitting at thirty minutes in length. It would have also given the Leader the name of Jack, presumably as a nod to visual effects designer Jack Kine who gave his likeness to the character for the UNITY IS STRENGTH posters seen in Inferno.

Although not being unlocked and ending up unproduced, Cutaway Comics did not rule out the possibility this project would be picked up in a future campaign.[1]

But as additional news comes in that things are getting worse, Jack begins to realise that maybe he has bitten off more than he could chew and starts to ruminate on the events that got him to where he is today and whether in the end, it was worth it…
