Jón was a human who lived with Anna in a remote house somewhere in the Arctic Circle. The two lived a quiet life; they were the keepers of a seemingly alien beacon, but they had been promised that it would most probably never activate. Eventually, it did; Anna chose to break the beacon with a hammer and, if questioned, pretend that she and Jón had never received the signal. Jón was baffled and uncertain at this decision, but chose not to argue.
Unbeknownst to herself, Anna was a human form containing the powerful being Azure, (TV: The Halloween Apocalypse [+]Loading...["The Halloween Apocalypse (TV story)"]) who had her identity erased by the Division for her role in the Siege of Atropos. (TV: Once, Upon Time [+]Loading...["Once, Upon Time (TV story)"]) The night after the beacon went off, Swarm - Azure's brother - entered the house and killed Jón in their bed, with his last words being to warn Anna not to "touch anything". Swarm subsequently burned the Anna guise away, freeing Azure. (TV: The Halloween Apocalypse [+]Loading...["The Halloween Apocalypse (TV story)"])
