James Sutton was a props maker for Doctor Who: Time Fracture[1][2][3]. He also assisted Nicholas Robatto in his work at Rubbertoe Replicas, researching & prototyping the replica Fourth Doctor's Sonic Screwdriver[4] and Romana's Sonic Screwdriver.[5] His work is often done under the label of "Scarecrow Props".[6]
He also provided imagery of his replica sonic and laser screwdriver props to Oliver Chenery, for use in the official motion trailer for Dalek Universe 2.[7] He continued to assist Chenery with other imagery, providing sonic screwdriver imagery for The Third Doctor Adventures: Volume Eight[8], and vortex manipulator imagery for Jenny - The Doctor's Daughter: Series Two.[9]
In the course of his prop research and work, he has also sourced original items that were used by the props department as set dressing items including Rose Tyler's alarm clock - a 1990s Morphy Richards one.[6]
