Little Falls Lake

Little Falls Lake was a lake said to be "high in Minnesota". Dr Pam Cutler occupied a cabin there in at least 1986, during which she was part of a paleomagnetism research project. It was here, too, that she received news of her father's death. (PROSE: Iceberg)

Behind the scenes

There is a Little Falls, Minnesota, but it's not in a particularly elevated part of the state, nor are any of its local lakes called "Little Falls Lake". Thus this seems to be a creation of the DWU that simply has the air of reality about it.
