Liyi Chen was an archaeologist who worked with Bernice Summerfield. She theorised where the central chamber of the building they uncovered was. Her arm was injured but was healed by the water Chorus collected. She managed to work out a communication array to talk to the creature that created the holes. The Caragot integrated her.
