Mark of the Rani

From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference

The "mark of the Rani" was a term applied by the Tremas Master to a large, red circle he observed on the neck of a human killed by the Rani. It was symptomatic of some sort of biological control the Rani enjoyed over her victims. (TV: The Mark of the Rani) It indicated that the person had been killed by strangulation. (PROSE: The Mark of the Rani)

The Rani's crimson mark. (TV: The Mark of the Rani)
