One half of duo Mel and Sue, Mel Giedroyc (born 5 June 1968^[1]) played companion-applicant Jemima-Katy played in the "Doctor's Assistant" skit featured in The Skivers: Series 2, Episode 4 ^[+]Loading...["The Skivers: Series 2, Episode 4 (audio story)"]. She also played herself in the Children in Need special Looking for Pudsey ^[+]Loading...["Looking for Pudsey (TV story)"].

Giedroyc and Sue Perkins have worked together as a duo since the 1990s. In 1996, the duo acted and wrote for the show French and Saunders. They were both hosts on The Great British Bake-Off, other presenters of which include Mary Berry and Matt Lucas.
