Melandre Tricart was an immortal member of the Ice Maidens. Due to her immortality her age would occasionally reset to childhood, as it did in 1943 when she first encountered Alistair Gordon Lethbridge-Stewart during an air raid, and again in 1970 when she was shot by Alistair and later resurrected as a young woman calling herself Ophelia.
