The Naryshkin Institute was a research facility in early 21st century Siberia. It was run by and named after Vladimir Naryshkin.
The Institute operated out of an old castle in the Siberian wilderness. Beneath the castle was an ice cave where Fitz Kreiner and George Williamson were trapped in an indeterminate state in 1894.
The Institute was officially sponsored by the Russian government, but funded by an anonymous European donor. They were trying to create a black hole. The benefactor, Maxwell Curtis, was turning into a black hole himself, and hoped the research would find a solution to his condition before it caused the Earth's destruction. (PROSE: Time Zero)
