The Queen was the ruler of Atlantis.
Biography[[edit] | [edit source]]
The Queen married the King, who, seeking to impress her, built her the Palace of Stone atop the Bronze Mountain. He eventually became restless and sailed away through the Pillars of Hercules despite the Queen begging him to stay with her. He failed to return and she remained inside the Palace, not being seen by the public for years.
When the Kraken began appearing and attempting to reach the Palace of Stone, the Queen suspected that he was her husband but refused to accept it and had her guard drive him back into the sea every time. In Year 57, she met Bernice Summerfield, initially believing her to be a messenger of Poseidon, and was convinced by her to allow the Kraken to climb the mountain. She was unable to love the Kraken and had her guards kill him, but he destroyed the palace and they both fell into the sea. (AUDIO: The Kraken's Lament)
Legacy[[edit] | [edit source]]
Helena remembered the Great Queen who wept for her beloved in the Bronze Palace, but Craisus had no memory of the place (AUDIO: Private Enemy No. 1) and Leonidas knew nothing of the Kraken. (AUDIO: The Temple of Questions)
