Ransome (PROSE: Doctor Who and the Claws of Axos) was a radar operator, and was the senior of the two radio operators who first detected Axos.

Biography

Ransome thought the object was a comet, but when it changed course, his junior colleague Harry said it couldn't be a comet.

Ransome later informed Chinn that he had a call from the Minister. (TV: The Claws of Axos)
