Roger Haynes portrayed US President Barack Obama in The End of Time [+]Loading...["The End of Time (TV story)"]. However, he was not credited at the end of either episode. Doctor Who: The Encyclopedia [+]Loading...{"ed":"2011","1":"Doctor Who: The Encyclopedia (reference book)"}, DWMSE 25, and TCH 62 credits Haynes as the Obama stand-in.
Haynes had no speaking role in The End of Time, with archive audio of the real Obama being played. Haynes's face is also never seen on-screen, instead he is only filmed from behind or obscured by light and the eventual "Master Race" transformation.
In the Doctor Who Confidential episode CON: Lords and Masters, Haynes's face was briefly seen during a break after shaking his head around for the transformation of Obama into the Master. Regarding speaking roles, Haynes stated that he would need more practice to be able to do Obama's voice.[3]
Haynes does not primarily work as an actor, but has done other extra work as an Obama stand-in in the 2014 film Kingsman: The Secret Service.[4][5]
