Saturday Night and Sunday Morning

From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference
Saturday Night and Sunday Morning

Saturday Night and Sunday Morning was a 1960s film based on a book by Alan Sillitoe. The story featured a character named Arthur Seaton, who in the film was portrayed by Albert Finney. When Susan Foreman began reading it in 1963, Mr Grange of Coal Hill School confiscated it because she was meant to be studying Swiss crop-rotation. She later retrieved it from the Staff Common Room.

When she went to see the film with Gillian Roberts on 30 March 1963, Susan still had not completed the book. However, as the film gained X ratings, she and Gillian were forced to dress up as adults to gain entry. Unfortunately for them, Ian Chesterton and Barbara Wright, both teachers at Coal Hill, went to the same showing. Knowing that they might reveal their true ages, the two children were forced to hide from them. (PROSE: Time and Relative)
