Snowglobe 3 was one of the snowglobes set up at the end of the 21st century to contain sheets of ice and preserve them against global warming. It was situated in the Australian Outback. As snowglobes were extremely expensive to maintain, many were sold off as visitor attractions. Snowglobe 3 was one of only three for purely scientific purposes, with the other two being Snowglobe 7 and Snowglobe 9. (PROSE: Snowglobe 7)
