The Sonic Desert was a desert on Skaro which was uncharted to human explorers. It was protected by a blanket of overwhelming sound of unknown origin which killed anyone who tried to enter the region. The only creatures to ever leave the desert, poisonous horned lizards, died due to lack of sound.
