The practical, ruthless war-leader '''Nass''' was the new personality born in the body of the [[Guerner]] who, on [[Rimba]], had been known as [[Swee]], after the Guerners awakened from their memory-erasing [[suspended animation]] under threat from the [[Sto-cat]]. Nass was confronted with the [[Fourth Doctor]], who, mistaking him for Swee, was confused as to why Nass did not seem to recognise him as his old friend. Nass ordered the capture of the Doctor and his [[companion]] [[Sarah Jane Smith|Sarah Jane]], believing them to be responsible for the Sto-cat's attack. However, the Doctor instead managed to deactivate the Sto-cat. He then convinced the Guerners to return to suspended animation, erasing their minds once again, in the hope that their next rebirth would be as a more peaceful species.
