The '''''Shadow''''' was a [[spacecraft]] which resembled an [[Edwardian era|Edwardian]] sailing yacht. It had an [[ion drive]] as well as [[sail]]s that caught the [[solar wind]]s. It was commanded by Captain [[Striker]] when his fellow [[Eternal]]s and he took part in the race to win [[Enlightenment]]. It was crewed by [[human]]s taken from the Edwardian era, who were [[Hypnosis|hypnotised]] to believe they were on a normal Earth sailing ship. The [[Fifth Doctor]], [[Tegan Jovanka]] and [[Vislor Turlough]] landed in the ship's hold, after receiving a summons from the [[White Guardian]]. The ship was targeted by Captain [[Wrack]].
