* As the first story published since [[DWM 350]]'s [[Doctor Who? (DWM 350 comic story)|instalment]] twelve years prior in 2004, this story is the first one to feature characters from the 2005 version of the show. As such, this story marks the first and only appearances to date of the [[Twelfth Doctor (Earth-33⅓)|Twelfth Doctor]], [[Clara Oswald (Earth-33⅓)|Clara Oswald]] and [[River Song (Earth-33⅓)|River Song]] in the series.

* The first three panels of this story were printed in black-and-white in [[Dicky Howett]]'s autobiography, ''[[Drawing Breath]]'', which was released on [[31 May (releases)|31 May]] [[2016 (releases)|2016]].
