:I don't find the matter particularly concerning. Would "Series 1 (Doctor Who 2005)" be confusing if the brunt of it had aired in 2006, but ''Rose'' had been aired as a sort of 'pilot' in late 2005? I wouldn't think so. Especially since we're, uniquely, going to lack a series made in the relevant year, which I think will be counterintuitive to many readers.
