To answer your chat question, the Quote of the Week is behind simply because no one has changed it. It's not required that it be changed by an [[admin]]. If you would like to change it, please feel free. {{user:CzechOut/Sig}} 18:56: Thu 10 Nov 2011 | To answer your chat question, the Quote of the Week is behind simply because no one has changed it. :It's literally up to you.
:As for what happens in the cases of a no-vote or tie situation, the editor who puts up the QOTW on the main page has the deciding vote. (The truth of the matter is that QOTW submissions have historically generated little interest. Many have had no votes or tied votes.)
:The "to skip or not to skip" question is more nuanced than it might first appear. I wouldn't trash the month of October because no one bothered to change the main page. Instead, I'd probably take the October stuff and make it January. Pull all the weeks that have been missed to the end of the pile. That way, we're still "on schedule" as far as holiday-themed quotes, but we retain the work that's been put into things. {{user:CzechOut/Sig}} 20:44: Fri 11 Nov 2011 |
