The Powell Estate once held a street party for the Queen's jubilee, with flags, bunting, orange squash, cheesy pineapple, Bakewells and sausage rolls. They played music from a CD player. A street party was also held in Florizel Street in 1953, during the Queen's coronation, with orange squash and Victoria sponge being served. The Tenth Doctor and Rose Tyler attended after defeating the Wire, and lent Tommy Connolly his moped as a thank you present, advising him to keep it hidden until he is old enough. After seeing his father getting kicked out of the house, Rose convinced Tommy to go after him, after which he does. (TV: The Idiot's Lantern)
