The term "1593" does not appear in The Empire of Glass. The solid date August 1592 does, so I was hasty to recommend deletion of that year. "30th May", or even the word "May" (as in the month) do not appear in the book. So we can't ascribe that date to the death of Marlowe. Marlowe's death does happen pretty much like this article suggests. But the question reamains whether we should ascribe this event to 1593 or 1592. (Perhaps the book indicates a passage of time from the Aug 1592 prologue, but I didn't find such evidence.) CzechOut | 14:29, April 26, 2010 (UTC)
