Talk:29 Paternoster Row

Discussion page

Real world history notes[[edit source]]

It was very plausible to find a bookseller on Paternoster Row, which was a center for printing and publishing in London from the Great Fire in 1666 until the entire street was removed by the Luftwaffe in December of 1940. A quick visit to Google turns up some real-world bracketing dates for a bookshop at that address in 1894; eleven years earlier in 1873 it housed the publisher W.H.Broom and thirteen years later in 1907 Frank Johnson would open a golf club making business there.
