Do we really know Elizabeth II was off the throne in Battlefield? I always assumed the Brigadier's line about not caring if it was the king was simply hyperbole (as I've heard people using the same expression with the Queen definitely still on the throne). Something like 'I don't care if it's God,' even if he didn't expect the Almight to be actually phoning him up.– The preceding unsigned comment was added by 60.241.62.226 (talk).
