Note for the future[[edit source]]
This article will likely need to be overhauled yet again again, but it's not time yet. According to comments by Denton J. Tipton and Gally 21, this series will not simply change Doctors in January 2011. He indicated there that "it looks like we're going to end the ongoing with #16, and then we're going to re-launch with the Eleventh Doctor, Matt Smith." An article about the appearance suggests that a final decision has not yet been reached as to how they're going to proceed with the Eleventh Doctor, so it's not time to change much about the article just yet. But if the numbering sequence does change so that Matt Smith's first issue is Doctor Who #1, this article will have to be moved to Doctor Who (2009) (instead of there being a redirect in the other direction), to make room for Doctor Who (2011). "Ongoing" is not the publication's title, in any case, and will be less so if they go again with a new numbering sequence. CzechOut ☎ | ✍ 20:31, March 18, 2010 (UTC)
- Article has been retained, but most of its content now at Doctor Who (2009), which is no longer a redirect. This has been kept because early indications are that Doctor Who (2011) is going to be again marketed as Ongoing, which is going to be a bit of a barrier to clear communication. This article is thus now a sort of an "expanded disambigution" page.
- Please get out of the habit of linking to Doctor Who Ongoing, which was never the publication's title, and instead link to either the 2009 or 2011 articles. CzechOut ☎ | ✍ 21:03, November 26, 2010 (UTC)
