Talk:Dr. Ninth (novel)

Discussion page

Non-canon?[[edit source]]

Can we all pretty much agree that this story can't possibly be canon, since it contradicts the events ofTV: "Rose"? TheFatPanda 15:46, September 5, 2017 (UTC)

We could, if Doctor Who had a canon, or if this wiki were concerned with establishing one or determining its boundaries. But it doesn't, and we aren't. See Tardis:Canon policy for further details. —Josiah Rowe 17:46, September 5, 2017 (UTC)
Canon can be a dangerous word. This is either a diffrent account of Rose, or Nine and Jack have bumped into Rose before she goes through Rose.BananaClownMan 17:58, September 5, 2017 (UTC)
Not according to our canon policy, which is that Doctor Who has no canon. This wiki is full of articles from licensed, valid sources that contradict each other. But they all count. TV stories contradict TV stories and a lot of the non-televised content contradicts each other and the televised content. What happens in these situations is we just say "according to one account" and "according to another account" etc. 50.37.19.255talk to me 20:56, September 5, 2017 (UTC)
