There appears to be two different spellings of Electra (or Elektra), who was the mother of Kronos, which is the proper spelling? =) Sclera1 03:30, April 11, 2010 (UTC)

Elektra and Kronos are Greek names and the preference seems to follow the convention of transliterating the Greek letter Kappa as the Roman letter K. In Roman times, the letter was usually transliterated as the letter C (which was never pronounced as an S back then), hence Electra and Cronus (Romans also changed -os to -us). The Roman spellings tend to be maintained by books on Greek myths and legends.
