Who is behind PhiCorp?[[edit source]]
Last night I watched "Escape to LA" and there was a line that the assasin says to Jack and Gwen
"they have waited for a long time. They had names, long ago.."
To me it seems like the people behind PhiCorp may not be people at all. There is references to them manipulating things on a massive, global scale. Only "people" I know of that have done that so far are The Silents.
Any thoughts?

- It does seem like the Silents could be behind this. But please take this to the Howling as this page is used for discussion relating to changes to the article, not for a discussion about the topic in question. --MrThermomanPreacher 20:06, August 2, 2011 (UTC)
Aliens and Enemies?[[edit source]]
After The Middle Men, is it really appropriate to categorize PhiCorp as enemies of Torchwood? Of course two or three PhiCorp employees (Jilly Kitzinger and Oswald Danes, and possibly the man who gives Jilly her assignment) seem to be enemies. But Stuart Owens (who, unlike the others, is a corporate officer, and therefore one of the people legally responsible for the company) turns out to be more of an ally. Although he's happy that PhiCorp is profiting from being used, he's still desperate to find out how and why they're being used, spends resources on an investigation, and shares everything he knows with Jack—including giving him what's presumably the vital next clue ("the Blessing"). Really, PhiCorp is less of an enemy than the UN, or the US and UK governments. --173.228.85.35 20:10, August 14, 2011 (UTC)
