Sequel[[edit source]]
This page is completely ridiculous. The story isn't "commonly mistaken" for a sequel to Warriors' Gate. It is a sequel to Warriors' Gate, with the serial numbers very imperfectly filed off. This whole wiki would be much better served by an "out of universe" approach that explains works in the context of the real world than by this absurd idea that you can fit all these stories into some kind of universal "Doctor Who Universe" which requires you to pretend that this story is not about Romana. - The key sentence is "However, BBV had no licence from the British Broadcasting Corporation to produce this series." Because they had no license, they can't make any claims to BBC stories. They can't claim that the character is Romana. It has nothing to do with fitting the story into a large narrative; it's a legal issue.
- And the basic premise of this wiki is to fit all stories into a narrative. There's no way after 10 years and 40000+ articles that that's going to change. Shambala108 ☎ 12:35, October 14, 2014 (UTC)
- A) I understand that they can't claim that. But we are not BBV, and we can note the obvious fact that it's a story about Romana. B) The basic premise of this wiki is ridiculous. It's completely impossible, and it's not useful to anybody. The stories in Doctor Who and related media don't form a narrative. This is true even if you're just talking about the TV show, much less all the related media. And why would this be something you even want to do? It makes things less useful for readers, by saying absurd things like that this story has nothing to do with Romana, and serves no positive purpose that I can see.
