TV story or webcast?[[edit source]]
I understand the confusion with The Night of the Doctor, as not everyone would have realised it was a BBC Red Button thing, but the iTunes prequels like The Making of the Gunslinger, Asylum of the Daleks Prequel and The Battle of Demons Run: Two Days Later are generally considered webcasts, right? -- Tybort (talk page) 16:34, November 20, 2013 (UTC)
- I agree. HarveyWallbanger ☎ 19:22, November 20, 2013 (UTC)
- Or are they? iTunes streaming is no different than Netflix streaming. Does that mean the new season of Arrested Development and the Emmy-nominated series House of Cards are also webcasts? This might be worth bringing it at the admin level: programmes produced for uploading to the BBC website are obvious webcasts, but are programmes produced for iTunes considered webcasts anymore? What happens when (not if) they start making full-length episodes for iTunes or iPlayer? I'm fine with leaving "webcast" in the title here for now, but it might be worth discussing for policy as there's going to be more of these in the future and the fading line between webcast and broadcast won't exist in a couple years. 68.146.70.124talk to me 21:00, November 21, 2013 (UTC)
