Talk:The Stones of Blood (TV story)

Discussion page

Stoned[[edit source]]

"The exteriors of this story were filmed on location at the Rollright Stones, a real megalithic site in central England. An actual legend of the site states that it is impossible to count the stones." It may aid visitors to the location to know that the big stones in the middle were actually BBC props, not part of the historic site. It's impossible to count the stones because of the hundreds of tourists and hippies milling about the place.165.225.76.164talk to me 10:05, June 19, 2018 (UTC)

I might have embellished the above, but the point about the props might be a useful addition to the article, suitable references having been found.165.225.80.75talk to me 10:35, June 19, 2018 (UTC)

Recording Locations[[edit source]]

"The exteriors of this story were filmed on location" - recorded on location actually, as noted elsewhere in the article.165.225.76.164talk to me 10:37, June 19, 2018 (UTC)

Let Them Eat Cake[[edit source]]

"Blake had already ordered a cake, and this was eaten by the cast and crew." And also by invited guests, to celebrate 15 years of Doctor Who. Troughton, Pertwee, and Katy Manning were there, for example. Katy has posted photos of the party previously on her twitter.165.225.80.75talk to me 10:41, June 19, 2018 (UTC)

Van[[edit source]]

"When the Doctor and Amelia are on the cliff being chased, a van can be seen in the background right after she says, "We're trapped." Is this a production error? They are in 20th century England, not on an alien planet. Is this more notable than seeing a tree in the background? There's no reference given for it being a production error.165.225.76.164talk to me 11:27, June 21, 2018 (UTC)
