Are we sure they called the Dromaeosaurids "Velociraptors" in Dinosaurs on a Spaceship? Solomon just called them "raptors" and I don't think anyone else called them by name. I mean, I may just be hoping that the BBC is just covering for the inaccuracies by not identifying their species. -<Azes13 ☎ 17:59, September 9, 2012 (UTC)
- I was thinking the same thing. Velocoraptors were actually very small, they are only considered to be about as tall as a human due to Jurassic Park, which was inaccurate. Geek Mythology ☎ 19:25, September 9, 2012 (UTC)
- Tybort is right, we need a DWU source that establishes something specific about them and if they're sized differently or whatever.
- We also need to remember that the DWU and real world don't often align, especially with dinosaurs (look at Invasion of the Dinosaurs).
- If "Raptors" is all we have to go on then we can either create an article specifically called "Raptor" (though it currently re-directs here) or have a subheading called "Raptor" where we deal within information that just states "Raptor" with the info from Dinos on a Spaceship and if there's any other DWU sources they can go there as well. --Tangerineduel / talk 16:31, September 12, 2012 (UTC)
- This 'Raptor' subheading sounds like a good idea to me. For what it's worthGeek Mythology ☎ 16:42, September 12, 2012 (UTC)
Solomon called them "Velociraptors" when he was telling the Doctor of how his legs got mutilated. TroopDude ☎ 18:36, December 30, 2012 (UTC)
