The Myth Makers was the nineteenth adventure in The First Doctor Sourcebook, adapted from the TV story of the same name.

The plot follows the television story, with variance depending on how it is played.

In "The Odyssey", a later incarnation of the Doctor (possibly the Sixth or Tenth Doctor) takes revenge on Odysseus by teleporting him and his crew to a water planet during the events of The Odyssey. The adventurers may join them. The cyclops may actually be a Dalek.
In "Troilus and Cressida", players may encounter Vicki and Troilus later in their lives. Given her intelligence, Vicki may have left Earth around 1200 BC to travel space. She may join the adventurers' crew.
In "Cassandra's Gift", the gamemaster is encouraged to imagine a story involving a secret alien force in Troy, that may be responsible for Cassandra's gift of prophecy. Perhaps its still there when Heinrich Schliemann allegedly discovers the city in 1868.
