Theodorus van Gogh

Theodorus van Gogh was the father of Vincent and Theo van Gogh. He worked as a church minister, and tried to encourage Vincent to have a similar job. While Vincent was living in squalor in Belgium, Theodorus considered placing him in a lunatic asylum. He passed away in 1885. (PROSE: Vincent van Gogh)
