Truman Crouch

From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference

Truman Crouch was a human colonial ranger foreman from the late 26th century.

Crouch once served under Oliver Tolland on Sha 4. Tolland hallucinated that Crouch and the other rangers were being attacked by the Shabooj'm, causing him to murder much of the colonised population. In the later court martial, Crouch attested that he and his rangers had simply been investigating a Sha insect problem that day and were not attacked in any way. Tolland later blamed Crouch for his demotion, suspecting Crouch was a double agent for the Congress of Galactic Ecologists.

With Tolland determined to revenge himself, Truman continued to work as a foreman (PROSE: Deadfall) near the Nematodian Border. (PROSE: Legacy)

Truman later travelled with the time traveller who would be known as Fred. While delirious, Fred once mistook Olivia for Truman after also mistaking her for Ria. (PROSE: Cyber-Hunt)

While investigating the Vespertine Lodge, Ace found an untouched novel written by Truman Crouch, entitled The Legend of the Lost. The Professor stated that it was an awful book, and that Truman should have stuck to making tea, adding, "No wonder they didn't read any of his books." (AUDIO: Guests for the Night)
