UNIT had a base near Naples by 2022.
In 2022, Kate Stewart organised local support for the Thirteenth Doctor and Yasmin Khan, when they approached the Spy Master during his International Seismology Memorial Conference at a hotel. UNIT soldiers, residing in this base, arrested the Master and transported him into the Doctor's TARDIS. (TV: The Power of the Doctor)
